PV Cycle France becomes Soren

In order to redefine its role in the support of the industrial and technical development of the sector, the eco-organization PV Cycle has adopted a new visual identity under the name of Soren

Since Wednesday, July 7, the Sorenbrand has replaced that of PV Cycle France and uses this evolution to present its ambition for the sector and the technological and technical challenges that all its players will have to face together: the alliance of the energy transition and the circular economy.

What is Soren?

Soren is a non-profit eco-organization approved by the public authorities for the collection and processing of used photovoltaic panels (private and professional) in France, bringing together more than 340 member companies that have chosen to collectively manage the issues related to end-of-life equipment. Between 2015 and 2020, more than 15,000 tons were collected at no cost to the holders directly from the dismantling sites or through the network of voluntary drop-off points. The recovery rate for a crystalline silicon-based photovoltaic module with an aluminum frame currently varies between 90% and 94%.

EDF ENR PWT is one of the founding shareholders.
